Regional Stage
On February 18, the scientific works of the Minor Academy of Sciences were defended on the regional stage. High school seniors from Zaporizhzhya region presented the speeches about their scientific work. Part of New Archaeological School team were among them. The results were evaluated by the competent and fair jury.
And the results are as follows:
I place — Paulina Pavlyukova with her thesis about “Comparative analysis of the typical ceramics of Generalka 2 site”;
II place — Maxim Kvasov and his research about the “Military engineering structures on the territory of Zaporizhzha region during the war of 1735—1739”;
III place — Dmytro Nykytenko — “Kichkas megalithic complex”
So now Pauline is waiting for a trip to Kiev and the contest at the Ukrainian stage of Minor Academy of Sciences.
Of course, we are very pleased with these results. First and third place were taken by the members of NAS, who spent a lot of time and efforts to make their researches. Besides, Maxim Kvasov, who wrote his thesis not under Oleg Tuboltsev supervision, is also well-known by participation in our excavations. Under such circumstances, NAS is going to be recognized as one of the most fruitful NGO in the future. At least within the region. We hope for the best in future and believe that the guys will acheive the potential of their works.
